The Brownsmead School House #39 has been a key part of Brownsmead life since it was built in 1925
This year, on its 100th anniversary, we are starting to restore the building, in hopes of returning it to a piece of its former glory.

We have a few ideas about what the building could look like in the future. We are trying to incorporate its past look as a school, as well as the functionality that the building has while it was a store.

Projects like this one take a lot of resources. That can be expertise, labor, or even money. All of these are essential to restoring this unique historic building to a centerpiece of the Brownsmead community.
